Apparently .bmp files aren’t considered images? Thanks, tumblr.
Anyway, this is the D&D group my dad and I used to play before everyone decided to move. I was Bob, the grumpy ice wizard, and my dad was Draviel, who hated drow. We don’t hang out with these people anymore, but we still keep in contact (kinda)
I scanned this and cleaned it up on MS Paint
These are some files I found on my computer I thought I’d share. A looot of them are unfinished and they are going to stay that way. I did learn a lot from each and every one of them, and it’s helping me learn how to color realistically. I’m still not sure how to apply textures without it looking obnoxious, though…
(OK, so I’m looking at the file on my computer and the colors are not nearly this saturated so I don’t know what the hell is going on here, but OH WELL)
This is about as far as I got with the WIP I previously posted. I’m pretty sure I was going to add a background of some kind? I dunno, I don’t plan on going back and finishing it.
This be an attempt at realism for my character Nyx. (I TRACED AN IMAGE. I’m pretty sure you can find it on google if you look up “woman face” or some crap. I don’t know how obvious it is which picture it is though? I’m too lazy to find it again :I)
In terms of realism, it’s not… good. At all. BUT, in terms of my usual skill, it’s pretty okey-dokey. And hey, if I don’t practice and put this shit up for the world to criticize, how the hell am I gonna get any better?
This is a WIP of justice!!!
OK I mainly started this because I wanted to practice some coloring but instead I went all out and made some nice lineart. (well it’s nice for my skill level anyway, you take what you can get man)
These are some very rough concept sketches of some characters I plan to use for a superhero universe my boyfriend and I are collaborating on. We are still in the very early stages of developing it all, so any more word on the matter will be months if not years from now.
This is a really rough version of an expressive self portrait I was to have done for art class. In class however, I turned in a quick watercolor using the same color scheme. I’m assuming I received a good grade on it.
I’m not too sure about the colours here, but whatever. Its good enough! The lines are sloppy, and it’s unshaded, but here is the ~*~fabulous~*~ green prince! … er, a really rough rendition of the green prince…
He may dress much simpler than the other princes, but he believes his attire to make up for it in elegance. (that’s debatable) He fights with a sword, has a pretty rad power over plants, and is 110% as snooty as he looks.
(P.S. he wants you to think he uses magic to keep his hair up like that)
I have no idea if I got her hair right at all…
I’m too nervous to upload this one onto Facebook right now, so only here it shall stay…
